"Now as they observed the confidence of Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed, and began to recognize them as having been with Jesus. ~ Acts 4:13 In Acts 4:13, we read about Peter and John, who were seen by the religious leaders as "uneducated, untrained men." Yet, these same leaders were astonished by their boldness and the wisdom in their words. The remarkable truth revealed here is that these ordinary individuals had been profoundly changed by their time spent with Jesus. Their impact and courage didn't come from their own worldly status or education, but from their intimate relationship with the Savior.
